Our mission, to help children and their families who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, and Aspergers Syndrome Disorder is threefold:
- To continue operating a school for children with autism, ages 5-21

- To develop a residential/respite facility
- To establish a resource center
The Imagine Academy has been established to teach autistic children, ages 5-21, on a one-to-one basis utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. This includes two widely accepted principles: Applied Behavioral Analysis, and the DIR/Floortime Method. In addition, the school also utilizes any new techniques that show significant merit. We also include related services such as speech, occupational, and physical therapies as well as Yoga, music and art education. In order to allow each child to continue his progress at home, parent/family training is a cornerstone of the daily curriculum.
The Imagine Academy's Residential Facility will be established in order to provide a neighborhood home for the children whose needs will best be served by living in a fully staffed, safe, warm and appropriate environment. Life skills and vocational training will be an important part of the curriculum. The staff will also include 24 hour medical availability. The Residence is slated to open within two years.
The Imagine Academy's Resource Center will be established in order to reduce the overwhelming impact autism may have on the entire family. The creation of a center to guide, educate and support the families will include educational, medical and nutritional counseling, as well as a lending library of both books and developmental toys for families to use at home.
