Annual Giving Fund
The Annual Giving Fund helps limit Imagine’s reliance on tuition and helps sustain its unique approach to special education. The mission of the Annual Giving Fund is to support Imagine in the here and now: the Annual Giving Fund can step in, to provide flexibility with immediate funds. Its purpose is to ensure that Imagine has the necessary resources to act on the needs that arise each year, whether it would be enough to attract an exceptional teacher/therapist, or perhaps to institute a new training program.
The Annual Giving Fund supports roughly 35 percent of the Academy’s activities each year. The impact of the gift cannot be overstated. At Imagine, for example, 10 percent missing from the operating budget would hinder Imagine’s progress of exceptional care and would ultimately compromise each student’s individualized program as well as their progress. Annual Giving Fund is the first priority of Imagine’s Initiatives. top

Building Dedication Opportunities
Bricks & Mortar: Building projects often require large sums of capital above and beyond the operating budget. The lobby, Conference Room, Resource Room and Computer Room are recent examples of major capital contributions that were made possible by significant charitable gifts. Gifts and pledges may be restricted to space acquisition and building improvements. All pledges for the building project can be paid over five years. top
Endowment Fund
An endowment forms the capital strength of a school by providing long-term stability and flexibility. The principal of the endowment is invested, and the income from this investment enables a school to plan prudently, rather than simply react. Endowment is the financial cushion needed to keep tuition affordable. Gifts to the endowment are permanent assets of Imagine and offer the school the resources to respond to long-term needs. Multi-year pledges are encouraged, so overtime, these pledges are fulfilled and Imagine's endowment grows. top
Program Fund
Gifts to the program fund would allow Imagine to provide educational and community initiatives. These might include:
Vocational Training
After-School Respite Programming
Outreach Programs
Trips and Outing
Educational Seminars
Lecture Series top
Financial Aid Fund
Imagine’s Special Education Financial Aid Fund helps defray educational costs for many of our students and their families. All students are eligible. We strongly believe that any student who can benefit from Imagine’s distinct and special program belong in our school. If financial aid is necessary it is our responsibility to provide assistance. Proceeds of the fund are used to create the individualized programs that our students need to excel. top
Curriculum Development Fund
Imagine’s unique program means that funds are needed for continued staff development to learn cutting- edge methods and approaches as well as integrating new curricula. Education is an evolution, not a goal. We are continually seeking innovative and proven methodologies to synergize into our student’s individualized programs for their future and independence. top |
